Job summary

Farmers Trading Company Ltd is seeking a Store Receiving Assistant to oversee the receiving and dispatching functions so stock reaches the trading floor smoothly and orders leave on time.

You’ll work Tuesday to Friday 9:30am–3:00pm, be physically fit and organised, with strong administration and computer skills to support daily operations and liaise with the distribution centre and store team to keep things moving efficiently.

Varied, High Impact Role -Large, Dynamic Retailer Farmers is New Zealand's largest department store. We sell a variety of items in large quantities. Not surprisingly, to keep our stores well stocked, we need expert Store Receiving Assistants to oversee the receiving and dispatching functions.

In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring all merchandise reaches our trading floor as smoothly and quickly as possible, and that orders are dispatched to customer's on-time. Although this is a "behind the scenes role", it is a pivotal one, where you'll liaise with the management team, distribution centre, and team members on a daily basis.

To excel in this role you'll have:

• Be physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving large amounts of stock on a daily basis

You’ll be able to work independently, stay calm under pressure and take initiative in order to really get things moving!

The is a Part Time position and will involve working Tuesday to Friday 9:30am - 3:00pm
