Job summary

Farmers Trading Company Ltd is seeking a Receiving Assistant for a part-time role in Silverdale. You will help oversee the receiving and dispatching of stock to ensure the trading floor is well stocked and orders are dispatched on time.

The role requires physical fitness, good organisational and administration skills, attention to detail, and basic computer skills. You will work Monday to Friday, 8am to 1:30pm, with some dock and floor duties as needed.

Receiving Assistant - Part-time - Silverdale

Want a behind the scenes role where you can really get things moving?

Varied, High Impact Role -Large, Dynamic Retailer Farmers is New Zealand's largest department store. We sell a variety of items in large quantities. Not surprisingly, to keep our stores well stocked, we need expert Store Receiving Assistants to oversee the receiving and dispatching functions.

In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring all merchandise reaches our trading floor as smoothly and quickly as possible, and that orders are dispatched to customer's on-time. Although this is a "behind the scenes role", it is a pivotal one, where you'll liaise with the management team, distribution centre, and team members on a daily basis. Please note: this role will change between dock work and sales and service work on the shop floor when required.

The is a permanent part-time role working the following rostered days hours:

Monday to Friday: 8am - 1:30pm

• Be physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving large amounts of stock on a daily basis
