Gilmours Hamilton, part of Foodstuffs North Island, seeks a Warehouse Assistant to operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts in the Chilled, Frozen and Butchery departments. The role is full-time, based in Hamilton, NZ, and involves stocking, inventory control, and working in cold environments.

Qualifications

• Current forklift OSH certificate is essential.
• Reach truck experience is essential.
• Able to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Reliable attendance and work history.
• Own transport or reliable commuting ability.

Responsibilities

• Replenish stock in chilled, frozen, and butchery zones.
• Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move and arrange stock.
• Use handheld RF scanners to track inventory.
• Lift and move items including heavy loads (25kg+).
• Work in both chillers/freezers and ambient areas.
