Job summary

Briscoe Group in Queenstown is seeking a Retail Manager to lead our dual-site Briscoes and Rebel Sport operation. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will drive day-to-day retail operations, develop the team, and deliver strong sales and customer service results across both brands.

Qualifications

• Proven retail leadership experience, ideally within a high-volume or big-box retail environment.
• Strong communication and business acumen.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as rostered.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team through coaching, training, and scheduling.
• Drive sales and customer service excellence to meet targets across Briscoes and Rebel Sport.
• Oversee loss prevention initiatives and ensure policy and audit compliance.
• Model team leadership on the shop floor and provide feedback to drive performance.
• Maintain health and safety culture and ensure safe store operations.
• Oversee inventory management and stock integrity.
