Job summary
Tech 5 is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs from tender through final account for commercial construction projects in Queenstown, New Zealand. You will prepare subcontractor packages, administer contracts and variations, and forecast costs while building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
The role requires NZ commercial construction experience, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple projects with strong
Qualifications
- NZ commercial construction experience.
- Strong understanding of NZ contracts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- High attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Based in Queenstown or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities
- Managing project costs from tender through to final account.
- Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages and procurement schedules.
- Contract administration and variation management.
- Cost forecasting, reporting and budgeting.
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Working closely with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
