Job summary

Aliaxis in Ashburton is seeking a hands-on Quality Control professional to support product quality, compliance, and manufacturing standards on the RX Plastics site. This permanent day-shift role combines laboratory testing with on-floor inspections, sampling, and routine QC checks to ensure international, national, and company standards are met.

You will work closely with production and operations, maintain QC records, contribute to audits, and uphold safety and environmental policies while

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in quality control or manufacturing.
• Certificate or Diploma in Quality Assurance.
• Strong numerical record-keeping and documentation.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain QC records using company systems.
• Perform QC testing, inspections and evaluations to meet standards.
• Record and share test results with relevant teams.
• Carry out routine QC checks to ensure product consistency.
• Take product samples and inspect during production.
• Raise quality issues and work with Production to resolve.
• Help maintain quality systems and support audits.
• Investigate customer complaints and assist with stock assessments.
• Collaborate with production and operations to maintain quality.
• Follow HSE policies and proactively address safety risks.
