Job summary

ES Plastics in Hamilton (Pukete) is seeking a Quality Control Technician to monitor products during production to ensure they meet tolerances and specifications.

You will work a permanent full-time night shift (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday), with training across Day and Afternoon shifts; overtime is paid at time and a half. Responsibilities include recording non-conformances and managing sample libraries, and completing paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience measuring and monitoring plastic products.
• Ability to meet tolerances and specifications.
• Experience with corrective actions and training follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Routinely monitor product during production and prior to dispatch.
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements.
• Record and manage Non-Conformances, including corrective action reports and following up with training as needed.
• Control sample library of in process and customer approved samples.
• Complete relevant paperwork correctly.
