Job summary

Aliaxis is seeking a hands-on Quality Control specialist for the RX Plastics site in Ashburton, New Zealand. The role focuses on supporting product quality, compliance, and manufacturing standards in a permanent daytime shift.

You will perform tests, inspections, and sampling on the production floor, maintain QC records, and work with Production to resolve issues while upholding HSE practices. This role offers training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Control or manufacturing-related roles.
• Certificate or Diploma in Quality Assurance or a related field.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Quality Control (QC) records using company systems.
• Perform quality control testing, inspections, and evaluations to ensure products meet applicable standards.
• Record and share test results with relevant teams.
• Carry out routine quality control checks to ensure product consistency and compliance.
• Take product samples and inspect products during production.
• Raise quality issues and collaborate with Production to resolve them.
• Help maintain quality systems and support audits.
• Investigate customer complaints and assess warehouse stock for quality investigations.
• Collaborate with production and operations to maintain product quality.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and proactively identify risks.
