Job summary

Perfection Fresh is seeking a quality assurance professional for our Homebush distribution centre. You will conduct product quality assessments, perform compliance checks to customer specs, and manage daily shelf-life reviews in a fast-paced operations environment.

You will deliver GMP training, maintain QA records, and support continuous improvement while ensuring safety and quality across incoming and outgoing stock.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality assessments of incoming and outgoing products against customer specifications and required quality standards.
• Perform compliance checks in accordance with customer specifications, internal procedures and relevant standards.
• Conduct daily product retention, end-of-shelf-life (EOSL) and shelf-life assessments.
• Complete regular site GMP checks to support compliance with GMP, HACCP and food safety requirements.
• Deliver GMP training and guidance to Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) and other relevant staff.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate and up-to-date Quality Assurance documentation.
• Conduct and accurately record daily cool room temperature checks.
• Identify, report and escalation any issues relating to quality, technical principles, protocols or processes.
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings and other relevant activities as required.
• Proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions to improve team performance and operational processes.
• Manage assigned tasks and priorities in a professional, organised and timely manner.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing stock to ensure all required quality standards and customer specifications are met.
