Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality inspection within a mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and understanding technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for identifying defects.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a Queenstown setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished mechanical assemblies.
• Utilize measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM) to verify specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and report non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to investigate defects and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to QC procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain inspection records and contribute to quality management improvements.
