Job summary

Ashburton Meat Processors is seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to lead the strategic direction of the Quality and Compliance function at our Ashburton plant. You will align with AMP’s purpose, vision and values while delivering quality outcomes and maintaining customer satisfaction.

You will work with our operations leadership team to optimise processes, safety, and environmental management, ensuring compliance across the site.

Qualifications

Verifiable experience in the Meat Processing industry in Quality or Process Management roles.
Leadership experience of teams across functions and levels.
Knowledge of Manufacturing, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
Ability to create/update documentation within relevant systems.
Ability to drive multiple projects with a results focus and problem-solving skills.
Ability to set and follow through with expectations and commitments.
Experience with forward planning and improvement methodologies such as SPC/Lean/Six Sigma.

Integrate quality and compliance outcomes with productivity and customer satisfaction.
Lead and develop the quality/compliance team with support from operations leadership.
