Job summary

Accessable in Auckland is seeking an IT Test Analyst with a developer background to join the in-house technology team and help deliver reliable, high‑quality solutions for our disability and rehabilitation products.

You'll work closely with developers, business stakeholders, analysts and project teams to influence quality from requirements through to production, bringing hands-on coding experience to testing, API validation, and automated test frameworks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a software developer/programmer or strong practical coding experience.
• Experience with functional, integration and regression testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to investigate a defect rather than simply report it.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Programming experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Java or similar.
• REST APIs and API testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, analysts and project teams to influence quality from requirements through to production.
• Query databases, test APIs, analyze application behavior, and work with developers to root cause defects.
• Advocate for user needs and ensure technology solutions work for end users.
• Move beyond traditional testing and contribute to design decisions for quality.
