Job summary

Precast HQ in New Zealand seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to uphold quality across production stages in Auckland. You will conduct checks, interpret shop drawings, and maintain live QA documentation while coordinating with on-site teams.

The ideal candidate has a Level 7 qualification in construction management or higher, at least six months QA experience in precast concrete, and currently resides in New Zealand; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 7 qualification in construction management or higher.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a quality assurance role.
• Experience in precast concrete.
• Currently residing in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks at production stages (reinforcing, table prep, formwork, measurements, lifters, post-pour, remedials).
• Interpret and communicate shop drawings and engineering drawings.
• Maintain real-time QA documentation and reporting.
• Generate and deliver final QA reports to customers.
• Provide constructive feedback to Technical and Shop Drawing Teams.
• Explain construction methodologies to on-site teams.
• Uphold safety standards.
