Job summary

Hynds Pipe Systems Limited in New Zealand seeks a hands-on Precast Supervisor to lead our precast team in Pokeno. You will set safety and quality standards, drive daily production plans and develop your people for peak performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum supervisory experience in precast manufacturing or production.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Gantry/overhead crane ticket (3800) and forklift license with F endorsement.
• Strong practical understanding of workshop health and safety.
• Understanding of reinforcement is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily supervision of the precast area with safety and quality at the forefront.
• Keep production on schedule by coordinating resources, materials and equipment.
• Own quality control for your area and drive waste reduction.
• Champion a safe work culture through visible leadership and pre-starts.
• Develop team leaders and crew, allocate work effectively and raise capability.
• Drive continuous improvement and accountability to KPIs.
• Manage production costs, inventory, housekeeping and asset maintenance.
