Job summary

Alliance Group Limited in Christchurch seeks a proactive logistics and continuous improvement professional to enhance how our outbound logistics operates. You will translate data into action, develop KPI reporting, and collaborate across Logistics, Finance, and service providers to drive operational excellence.

You will lead improvement initiatives from concept to implementation, manage master data and freight configuration, validate costs, and reduce manual work while supporting multiple teams

Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, finance, administration, and/or continuous improvement environments.
  • Strong process improvement and process mapping capability.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
  • Experience analysing data and producing actionable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with system administration, master data management, or ERP systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong numerical capability.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives from concept through to implementation.

The Role

You'll play a critical role in improving how our outbound logistics function operates . You'll use data, insights, and collaboration to identify opportunities, implement improvements, and ensure our logistics systems and processes support operational excellence.

About You

You'll be naturally curious, analytical, and motivated by finding better ways of working. You enjoy working across multiple teams, translating data into action, and delivering meaningful business improvements.

Role

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

A tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline would be advantageous.
