BestStart Oamaru Kindy in Oamaru, NZ, seeks an enthusiastic Qualified and Certificated Teacher for a permanent part-time role (25 hours/week, Mon-Fri) in a homely learning environment. You’ll work with a dedicated team to nurture curious children through play and meaningful relationships.

Qualificações

• BEd or Diploma in Teaching Level 7 (ECE) with current Teacher Certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of child-led learning and curriculum planning.
• Solid understanding of Te Whāriki and ECE regulations.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday teaching practice.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Qualified and Certificated Teacher who shows initiative, responds thoughtfully to children's developing skills and interests, and enjoys being part of a team dedicated to quality education.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You’ll work alongside a passionate team in our mixed-age setting (2-5 years), helping to create engaging learning opportunities and strong relationships with children and whānau. Our spacious, sheltered outdoor area offers endless possibilities for exploration, adventure, and discovery, whatever the weather.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification
