Job summary

BestStart Three Parks in Wanaka is opening a brand-new early learning centre in 2027 and is seeking a passionate Qualified Teacher to join our start-up team. You’ll influence learning environments, guide tamariki through Te Whāriki, and help shape our centre culture from day one.

This full-time role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) welcomes a current Teacher Certification and a BEd or Diploma in Teaching (ECE).

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher with current Teacher Certification.
• Passion for Te Whāriki and creating meaningful learning experiences.
• Ability to contribute to a start-up team in a new centre.

Responsibilities

• Shape centre culture, learning environments and philosophy from day one.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality learning for tamariki in both under 2s and over 2s spaces.

Ready for a fresh start in one of New Zealand’s most stunning locations? BestStart Three Parks is a brand-new, purpose-built centre opening in early 2027, and we're looking for a passionate Qualified Teacher to join our start up team.

Licensed for 92 tamariki, our centre will feature four thoughtfully designed classrooms, including two dedicated under 2 spaces, alongside modern facilities and brand-new resources.

About You

You'll hold a BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification, with a passion for quality teaching, Te Whāriki, and creating meaningful learning experiences for tamariki.
