Job summary

Radiant Energy Solutions Limited in New Plymouth, New Zealand, is seeking a Qualified Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. You will work on residential, commercial and light industrial projects, delivering quality workmanship and safe, reliable electrical solutions across the Taranaki region.

Ideal candidates hold a current NZ practising licence, have experience with commercial or light industrial work, and familiarity with renewable energy systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, repairs and upgrades.

Radiant Energy Solutions Limited is seeking a Qualified Electrician to join our team in New Plymouth, Central Taranaki. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced electrician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, solving problems and providing excellent service to customers. You'll work across a range of residential, commercial and light industrial projects, with the opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience in the growing energy solutions sector. You'll be an important part of our team, helping us deliver safe, reliable and high-quality electrical solutions for our customers throughout the Taranaki region.

Key responsibilities

Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, repairs and upgrades in accordance with relevant NZ standards and regulations.

Diagnose and fault-find electrical systems and equipment and implement effective solutions.

Complete electrical testing and inspections and identify potential issues or safety hazards.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans and wiring diagrams.

Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure electrical systems remain safe and reliable.

Work alongside other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used and time spent on jobs.

Communicate professionally with customers and explain work completed and any recommendations.

Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Follow all company health and safety policies and requirements.

About you

A qualified electrician with a current NZ practicing license.

Experienced in commercial and/or light industrial electrical work.

Experienced with renewable energy systems or energy solutions.

Confident with electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting.

Knowledgeable about NZ electrical regulations, standards and health and safety requirements.

Comfortable reading electrical drawings and using electrical testing equipment.

A strong problem solver who can work independently and find practical solutions.

Reliable, organised and able to manage multiple jobs and priorities.

A good communicator who works well with customers, colleagues and other trades.

Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Physically capable of working across different sites and environments.

Full New Zealand Drivers License preferrable
