Job summary

Radiant Energy Solutions Limited in New Plymouth, New Zealand, is seeking a Qualified Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. You will work on residential, commercial and light industrial projects, delivering quality workmanship and safe, reliable electrical solutions across the Taranaki region.

Ideal candidates hold a current NZ practising licence, have experience with commercial or light industrial work, and familiarity with renewable energy systems.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NZ practicing licence.
• Experience in commercial and/or light industrial electrical work.
• Knowledge of NZ electrical regulations and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, repairs and upgrades.
• Diagnose and fault-find electrical systems and equipment.
• Complete electrical testing and inspections; identify hazards.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans and diagrams.
• Maintain records of work and materials used.
• Communicate with customers and explain work done and recommendations.
