Beginnings and Beyond Quality Preschool Bay of Plenty is seeking a fully qualified, registered ECE kaiako for a part-time role at our small, whānau-focused centre in Papamoa. The position offers 20–25 hours per week, with availability between 8am and 3pm, and flexibility to adjust hours for school holidays.

You must hold a NZ-recognised ECE teaching qualification, full NZ teacher registration, and a current First Aid Certificate.

Are you a fully qualified and registered ECE kaiako looking for a part-time role within a small, supportive and whānau-focused centre?

Beginnings and Beyond is a small mixed-age centre in Papamoa, licensed for just 24 tamariki. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, welcoming environment where strong relationships, a sense of belonging, and genuine connections with our tamariki and whānau as they are at the heart of what we do.

We’re looking for an experienced, passionate kaiako to join our close-knit team of four experienced kaiako.

The role:

• 20-25 hours per week


• Availability between 8am-3pm


• Days and hours are flexible for the right candidate


• Flexibility to reduce hours during school holidays if desired


• Part-time position


• Start date January 2027

To be considered, you must:
