Little Ones Early Learning Centre is seeking an enthusiastic kaiako to join our warm, supportive and close-knit team.

Our practice is inspired by RIE and the work of Magda Gerber and Emmi Pikler, with a strong focus on respectful relationships, responsive caregiving, freedom of movement and children's agency. We believe tamariki thrive when given time, trust and meaningful opportunities to explore and discover at their own pace.

Our teaching practice is grounded in Te Whāriki, with a commitment to strengthening te ao Māori, te reo Māori and tikanga Māori within our everyday practice.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a genuine passion for working with tamariki
• values respectful, responsive relationships and children's agency
• is interested in RIE, Magda Gerber and Emmi Pikler
• enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team
• is reflective and committed to ongoing professional growth
• has an interest in te ao Māori and bicultural practice.

Experienced registered kaiako, newly qualified graduates and third-year ECE students approaching qualification are encouraged to apply. We welcome applications from those beginning their teaching journey and can provide a supportive environment for developing professional practice.
