PAK'nSAVE Gisborne, part of Foodstuffs North Island, is hiring a Qualified Butcher or Experienced Knife Hand for a permanent full-time role. You will cut meat to specs, maintain quality and safety standards, and deliver friendly customer service in a fast-paced team environment.

Applicants should have a butcher qualification or at least 6 months of knife-hand experience, strong meat knowledge, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Qualified butcher, or at least 6 months' experience as knife hand in a commercial meat processing or retail butchery environment.
• Knowledge of meat preparation, cutting techniques and handling practices.
• Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Preparing and cutting meat to departmental and customer specifications.
• Maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and food safety.
• Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
• Assisting with stock management and product replenishment.
