L’Authentique in New Zealand is seeking a dedicated Butcher / Sausage Cutter to join our production team. You will hand-cut, trim, and prepare meat for premium sausages using skilled knife techniques in a cold, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand-knife or butcher work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, handle repetitive tasks and carry heavy weight.

Responsibilities

• Hand-cutting, trimming, and preparing meat according to production specifications.
• Maintaining accuracy and consistency in cuts to ensure premium product quality.
• Working closely with production leads to meet daily output targets.
• Handling knives and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area in accordance with food safety standards.
• Assisting with general production tasks when required.
