AECOM is looking for a Project Controls Specialist / Project Scheduler to join our team in New Zealand, supporting project teams with the planning, scheduling, reporting and controls needed to successfully deliver complex projects and programmes of work.
Your primary focus will be project scheduling, while also contributing to broader project controls including cost, reporting, risk and performance management.

The Opportunity
As a Project Controls Specialist / Project Scheduler, you'll work closely with project managers, technical teams and clients to develop and maintain programmes, monitor progress and identify risks and impacts to project delivery.
You'll help answer questions such as:

What you'll bring
We're looking for someone with strong scheduling capability, project controls experience and commercial awareness. You may come from a background in project controls, scheduling, engineering, construction, infrastructure delivery or project management. An engineering qualification isn't essential if you can demonstrate the right capability. You could also have:
Formal project controls or scheduling qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
You don't need to tick every box. We’re looking for someone with strong capability, curiosity and the ability to learn quickly. Someone who can look at a programme and understand what is really driving delivery Someone who can turn complex project information into clear insight. And someone who wants to build their career in project controls and contribute to projects shaping New Zealand's future.
