Job summary

Kirimana is seeking experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with a mechanical/building services background to lead complex NZ projects in Wellington. You will own delivery from contract award through completion, coordinating HVAC systems, plant and building services across diverse sectors.

We value leadership, commercial acumen and stakeholder management, with opportunities for progression in established contractor environments and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of project delivery within mechanical or building services environments.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Kirimana is looking for experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with a background in mechanical and building services for opportunities with established contractors delivering complex projects across New Zealand.

Projects span commercial developments, healthcare, government, education and industrial environments, with opportunities involving HVAC, mechanical services, plant and specialist building systems. We're looking for people who can take ownership of projects, lead delivery teams and maintain strong commercial and client outcomes from contract award through to completion.

What We're Looking For

You'll need a strong understanding of project delivery within mechanical or building services environments, combining technical knowledge with commercial awareness, leadership and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

• Manage mechanical services projects from contract award through construction, commissioning and handover
• Plan and coordinate programmes, procurement, equipment, subcontractors and site delivery
• Manage project financials, forecasting, cost control, variations, reporting and contract administration
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors while leading project teams
• Maintain high standards across safety, quality, programme and commercial performance

Proven experience delivering commercial mechanical services or HVAC projects is highly regarded. We're also interested in experienced Project Managers from related building services, engineering and construction backgrounds who have strong transferable skills.
