Job summary

DIALOG Fitzroy in New Plymouth, New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead the quality function across multiple sites. The role oversees day‑to‑day QC operations, drives continuous improvement, and partners with Operations, Projects and Engineering to deliver safe, compliant, and high‑quality outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in quality management, leadership across locations, and strong knowledge of quality systems and audits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality management and leadership roles.
• Experience leading quality teams in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, construction, or related industries.
• Strong background in quality systems, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lead, coach, and influence teams across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Quality Governance & Standards: Lead governance across regions with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.
• Operational Quality Leadership: Manage daily QC operations, inspections, and resource use.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive defect reduction and embed lessons learned into processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relations with operations and clients to meet quality requirements.
• Health, Safety & Environment: Promote a strong HSE culture and lead incident reporting and investigations.
