Job summary

Assemble in Wellington is seeking a Project Manager to lead a broad mix of national construction projects, with a strong education sector focus. You will own scope, budgets, programmes and quality from scoping through to completion, working closely with in-house design and QS teams.

You will coordinate consultants, manage procurement and contracts, lead project meetings with clients and stakeholders, and actively manage risks, RFIs and variations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of NZ construction project management experience.
  • Experience on commercial, education or public sector projects.
  • Construction-related tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of NZ contracts, procurement and consenting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient with cloud-based project management software.

  • Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills, cloud-based PM software experience
  • MOE or public sector project exposure an advantage
  • Legal right to work in NZ required (no visa sponsorship)
