Entelar Group Limited is seeking an Auckland-based leader to drive a growing programme of passive mobile infrastructure projects, focusing on civil construction, tower stands, and end-to-end cell site builds. You will oversee a diverse customer project portfolio, requiring strong project management and proven people leadership.

This role blends leadership and delivery, demanding stakeholder management, financial oversight, and a track record of delivering complex telecom or construction projects

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in telecommunications or construction project management.
  • Managed projects/programmes of $10m+ in value.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
  • Experience with civil construction and network infrastructures.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and work with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and document project tasks and milestones.

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to lead a growing programme of passive mobile infrastructure projects, build a high-performing delivery team, and strengthen outcomes for customers across New Zealand.

We are seeking an Auckland-based leader for our team focused on civil construction, tower stands and end to end cell site construction. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of customer projects and a strong pipeline of future work. Success in this role requires telecommunications or construction experience, strong project management capability, and proven people leadership.

This role blends people leadership and project management, requiring proven capability in developing, coaching, and leading a high-performing team.

Typical project and programme management skills such as senior stakeholder management, planning, financial management, resource management, risk management will be mandatory.

Day to day you will be involved in
  • Planning and documenting project tasks
  • Ensuring deliverables are delivered on-time and within budget
  • Managing all project resources
  • Effectively communicating with stakeholders, including status reporting
  • Eliminating blockers and potential risks
  • Ensuring top-quality results and project success
  • Oversee and control project finances and systems by monitoring expenditure against budget, managing claims and cost savings, and promptly identifying, documenting, and reporting contract variations or cost overruns
  • Build, lead, and inspire a diverse team of RAN specialists, fostering an environment of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning
What experience you'll bring?
  • You’re an experienced project manager of 5+ years in telecommunications or construction industry and you’ve personally manged projects and/or programmes of $10m+.
  • You’ve a track record of delivery of projects or programmes despite challenges
  • You’ve strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
  • You’ve ideally worked in and understand the telecommunications market and typical Networks.
  • You’ve worked with infrastructure and have strong civil construction knowledge.
  • You’ve built relationships easily and loved interaction with customers, team members and other business leaders – in other words great at cross team collaboration. You can also deal with stakeholders who are demanding!
  • You’ve successfully led high-performing teams and consistently delivered strong results
