Job summary

Contact Energy Ltd is seeking an Investment Analysis Specialist to support financing and commercial delivery of major infrastructure projects. The role is based in Auckland or Wellington on a fixed-term contract through to January 2028, with flexible working arrangements.

You will develop financial models, evaluate funding structures, and collaborate with Treasury, Corporate Finance and project teams to help bring ambitious energy projects to life.

Qualifications

• Experience with project finance, infrastructure financing, or large-scale capital projects.
• Strong ability to build and interpret financial models and scenarios.
• Ability to coordinate with Treasury, Corporate Finance and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support funding decisions.
• Evaluate financing structures and commercial outcomes.
• Support project finance activities and investment decisions.
• Assess risks and opportunities across major projects.
• Prepare analyses and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to deliver projects.
