Job summary

Fluid Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a Tier 2 civil contractor in Tauranga. You will be involved across the full project lifecycle on complex 3 Waters and drainage schemes, taking ownership of delivery alongside seasoned professionals.

The role requires at least 3 years' Project Engineer experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and experience in 3 Waters or underground infra. You will work autonomously within a project team and contribute to safe, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience as a Project Engineer in civil construction.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Experience across 3 Waters, drainage or underground infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, project controls and commercial processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a project team.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Planning and managing engineering aspects of civil construction projects

• Managing project documentation, programmes, costs and variations

An established and respected Tier 2 civil construction company is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join its delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer who wants to work on complex 3 Waters and deep drainage projects, taking ownership across project delivery while working alongside experienced construction professionals.

The Role

You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle, supporting the successful delivery of technically challenging civil infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and managing engineering aspects of civil construction projects

About You
