Job summary

Stratford District Council is seeking a Project Engineer - 3 Waters to lead and deliver essential water infrastructure across the Stratford District. This permanent full-time role is based in Stratford and focuses on safe, on-time, on-budget project delivery within our procurement and PM frameworks.

You'll manage projects from scoping to construction, engage with contractors, iwi and community stakeholders, and contribute to asset management planning to support high-quality water services for

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in project delivery, 3 Waters, asset management, or local government infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering 3 Waters infrastructure projects across the Stratford District.
• Managing projects from scoping and procurement through to construction, engagement, and reporting.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with Council's frameworks.
