Job description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.

We are looking for a highly organised and technically capable Project Compliance Co-ordinator to provide technical administrative support to our Compliance Laboratory and wider compliance teams.

This is a unique opportunity to work within our internationally accredited laboratory, supporting the compliance activities that enable Tait products to be sold across global markets. Working closely with engineers, product development teams, external test laboratories, and regulatory bodies, you will help coordinate compliance programmes and ensure testing, certification, and documentation activities are delivered efficiently and accurately.

The role combines project coordination, compliance administration, stakeholder management, and technical documentation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple projects while utilising your expertise in radio communications compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate product compliance activities, supporting the successful certification of Tait products for global markets.
  • Develop and maintain compliance plans for new products and product enhancements.
  • Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, external test laboratories, and regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate compliance testing programmes, including obtaining quotes, preparing test samples, tracking progress, and reviewing documentation.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory certification applications, including FCC (USA) and ISED (Canada) approvals.
  • Manage compliance-related documentation, records, purchasing, and laboratory administration in accordance with quality system requirements.
  • Support the planning and coordination of laboratory testing schedules while identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems.

You are a motivated coordinator and strong administrator who enjoys working in a technical environment. You can manage multiple competing priorities, communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

You are naturally organised, proactive, and eager to learn. While compliance experience is highly desirable, we are equally interested in candidates with relevant telecommunications, project coordination, or technical administration experience who are keen to develop their knowledge of product compliance and certification.

To be successful you will have:

  • Strong understanding of radio communications technologies and RF concepts.
  • Proven experience working in a commercial product development, telecommunications, technical administration, or project coordination environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with databases and technical documentation.
  • Sound judgement, initiative, and a positive, solutions-focused approach.
  • A collaborative working style and ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
  • A strong commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline is preferred although relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Familiarity with RF and EMC testing standards is advantageous.
