Job summary

HEB Construction is seeking a Project Administrator for the Waikare Gorge Realignment Project near Napier, New Zealand. You will help keep the site office running smoothly, support project managers and engineers with reporting, documentation, and administration, and coordinate various project information and stakeholders.

• Experience in administration, coordination, office management, or team support roles.
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Be the welcoming face of the project for employees, suppliers, clients, and visitors.
• Keep the site office operating efficiently and professionally.
• Support project managers and engineers with reporting, documentation, and administration.
• Coordinate plant, labour, fuel card, and job costing information through HEB systems.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, timesheets, expenses, and employee administration.
• Support labour hire and subcontractor administration, including orders and reconciliations.
• Maintain project registers, monitor shared inboxes, and assist with scheduling and coordination.
• Help ensure health, safety, and wellbeing remain a priority across the project.
