Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Painter and Decorator or similar.
• Strong knowledge of painting, surface preparation and decorating techniques.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Comfortable working at heights where required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling, and priming.
• Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other decorative finishes.
• Complete interior and exterior painting to a high professional standard.
• Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, and surrounding areas before commencing work.
• Identify and repair minor surface defects before painting.
• Maintain clean, organised, and safe work areas.
• Follow project specifications and schedules.
• Use painting and decorating tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Communicate professionally with customers, clients, and other trades.
• Complete work within agreed timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
