Job summary

CSR seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead the Customised Whiteboard Solutions (CWS) production in Penrose, Auckland. This hands‑on role plans customised orders, develops team capability, and drives safety, quality, productivity and cost performance.

You will report to the DC Manager, direct daily operations, coordinate people, materials and equipment, and build a capable team through coaching and cross‑skilling.

Qualifications

• Experience leading frontline teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and on-time delivery.
• Ability to plan and prioritise customised production orders.
• Demonstrated coaching and staff development skills.
• Competent in problem-solving and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritise customised production orders to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Allocate daily workloads to maximise labour, materials and equipment efficiency.
• Lead safety culture with adherence to procedures, risk controls and PPE.
• Manage production quality, investigate issues and address customer complaints.
• Monitor productivity, downtime, waste and overall performance metrics.
• Coach and develop production team members and labour‑hire staff.
• Coordinate onboarding, competency assessments and cross‑training activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity and cost.
• Collaborate with inventory, dispatch, customer service and site leadership to hit objectives.
