Job summary

CSR in Penrose, Auckland seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a specialised manufacturing operation focused on safety, quality and on-time delivery. You will plan customised orders, develop team capability and drive continuous improvement while coaching frontline staff.

This hands-on role reports to the DC Manager, coordinating people, materials and equipment to ensure safe and accurate production. Standard hours are Mon–Fri, 7:00 am–3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team-leadership experience.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to coach and develop frontline staff.
• Safety-focused with HAC and PPE awareness.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritise customised production orders to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Allocate daily workloads and ensure efficient use of labour, materials and equipment.
• Lead safety culture and ensure procedures and PPE are followed.
• Manage production quality, investigate issues and customer complaints.
• Monitor productivity, downtime, waste and performance metrics.
• Coach and develop production team members and labour-hire staff.
• Coordinate onboarding, competency assessments and cross-training.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, productivity and cost.
• Partner with inventory, dispatch, customer service and site leadership to meet objectives.
