Job summary

Rio Tinto NZAS is hiring Production Operators to join the Invercargill-Tiwai Point-based operations. No aluminium manufacturing experience required; full training will be provided.

You will report to Supervisors and Superintendents and join a supportive production team, contributing to safety and production goals. This role offers a pathway to a long-term career in industry with a competitive base salary, shift allowances, and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety of yourself and your team.
• Successfully complete pre-employment medical and physical assessments.
• A full and current New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to undertake physical work in an industrial environment.
• Workshop, hands on work, manufacturing or industrial experience but not essential.
