Job description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.

Beauty Industry - Production & Logistics Coordinator - Entry Level Role

We’re looking for a Production & Logistics Coordinator to join the Design & Export team at a family-owned beauty company based in Takapuna. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional who loves being organised, solving problems, working with people and seeing a project through from idea to reality.

About the Role

As the Production & Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be one of the key people making sure products move from an idea on a screen to a finished product in the hands of their customers. It’s a varied role that sits at the intersection of New Product Development, production, purchasing, inventory, logistics and customer service. You'll be hands-on from the beginning, learning how products are developed, manufactured, purchased, shipped and ultimately sold!

About You

The ideal candidate will be naturally organised, very detail-oriented, a confident communicator who isn't afraid to pick up the phone or send an email, comfortable working with numbers, systems and Excel spreadsheets, curious and keen to learn how things work, a practical problem solver, comfortable juggling multiple priorities and deadlines and a committed team player who enjoys working with different people.

You don't need to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone with a positive, energetic ‘can-do’ attitude and curiosity to learn. You will be rewarded with a truly supportive and collaborative team environment. They also offer a competitive salary and ability to work from home two days per week.

Key Responsibilities

A little bit of everything — and that’s what makes this role so interesting.

  • Make products happen:Work with the NPD team and factories to turn product ideas into finished products, making sure the right components are ordered, and everything is produced to specification.
  • Keep things moving:Coordinate orders from suppliers and factories all the way through to warehouses and customers, working with freight forwarders and shipping agents along the way.
  • Become an Excel pro:Track orders, stock, sales and forecasts, and use data to spot potential problems before they become actual problems.
  • Be the detail detective:Check orders, quantities, pricing, paperwork, barcodes and inventory information to make sure everything adds up.
  • Work internationally:Communicate with suppliers and factories in New Zealand, China, Australia and beyond, as well as customers and logistics partners.
  • Get involved in NPD:Help source components, organise samples, assist with product development and troubleshoot issues during production.
  • Get creative:This isn't just spreadsheets and shipping! You'll also have opportunities to help with brainstorming, competitor research, presentations, website projects, photoshoots and marketing.
  • Solve problems:When something doesn't go to plan — a shipment is delayed, an order doesn't look right or a factory spots an issue — you'll help figure out what happened and what to do next.
  • Keep deadlines on track:There will be plenty of moving parts, so you'll help make sure everyone knows what's happening and when.
