Job summary

Farro Fresh Food Limited is seeking two full-time Production Kitchen Assistants for our Remuera/Orakei-based Production Kitchen, next to the Orakei train station. You will help prepare and assemble products under supervision, in a vibrant culinary setting.

Roles run 35 hours weekly with fixed shifts from 6am–2pm Tue–Sat and 12:30pm–8:30pm Wed–Sat, offering a hands-on kitchen environment focused on quality, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A good understanding of food, and food-preparation.
• Commercial kitchen experience and knife handling skills - minimum of 1 year experience.
• Good eye for detail, high standards, and self-driven.
• Ability to follow recipes proficiently.
• Clean and tidy work habits.
• A good understanding of H&S and Food Safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble and portion a range of products and recipes under the guidance of the Production Manager and Assistant Manager.

We are currently looking for two full-time Production Kitchen Assistants to join our team. Our full-time roles are working 35 hours a week from 6am - 2pm Tuesday to Saturday and 12.30pm - 8.30pm Saturday to Wednesday.

What we are looking for:
