Job summary

Compass Group New Zealand is seeking a Production Administrator/Analyst for our Hamilton Manufacturing Unit. This permanent role with 40 guaranteed hours per week supports planning, reporting and data analysis to optimise manufacturing operations.

You will provide insights into production performance, labour efficiency, yield, waste, capacity utilisation and operational trends, working with managers to drive informed decisions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• One to three years’ experience in administration, office management or operations coordination.
• Excellent organisational, multitasking and time-management capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office 365 and CRM, ERP or SAP systems.
• Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to resolve operational issues.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production dashboards and performance reports.
• Analyse production attainment, labour efficiency, yield, waste and downtime.
• Coordinate meetings, correspondence, expenses and capital expenditure submissions.
• Maintain injury management, repairs and maintenance records and reporting.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and cross-departmental administration.
