Computer Dynamics is seeking a Product Manager to drive profitability and shape the portfolio of 100+ brands across New Zealand. You will oversee growth, collaborate with Sales and Marketing, and keep vendor technologies up to date to keep the portfolio competitive.

This is a pivotal role within the company, responsible for driving profitability, shaping the product portfolio, while overseeing the growth of more than 100 brands. The position requires someone with a deep understanding of how electrical and technology products and sold and used across sales channels and industries.
Success in this role demands strong commercial awareness, a keen understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights, as well as exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing teams to enhance the current product offering and identify new growth opportunities. You’ll manage brand journeys from product selection through to marketing and training, keeping up to date with vendor technologies and ensuring the portfolio remains competitive.
Ownership of the product portfolio including developing and growing the offering.
Research and present businesses case for new product offerings.
Become the product knowledge expert.
Conduct regular range reviews of portfolio.
Pro-actively managing any slow moving or aged stock.
Ensure achievement of KPIs and any applicable vendor rebates.
Stay up-to-date with competitive and market information, including new trends.
Have hands on or product management experience working with electrical and/or technology products.
A positive attitude with a competitive nature.
Conscientious work ethic.
Strategic thinking while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of the Electrical Wholesale channel would be an advantage.
