Job summary

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is seeking a motivated Product Development Engineer to help bring exciting new products to life. You will contribute across a growing ventilation program, focusing on sustainability, usability and performance.

You'll be involved in design controls, testing, prototyping and jigs, gaining hands-on experience throughout the development journey and collaborating with a global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level mechanical/industrial design degree.
• Experience or familiarity with CAD modelling.
• Demonstrated collaboration and problem-solving skills.

The opportunity

We're looking for a motivated Product Development Engineer to join our energetic team and help bring exciting new products to life.

You'll work across a growing pipeline of ventilation projects, developing products for customers around the world with a strong focus on sustainability, usability and performance. From design controls and testing to building prototypes and jigs, you'll have the opportunity to get hands-on throughout the product development journey.

About You

You're someone who enjoys getting stuck into a challenge, working alongside others and finding practical solutions. You'll bring a good mechanical understanding, a positive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for product development.

Ideally, you'll have:

• A Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or Bachelor of Design (BDes)
• CAD modelling experience
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, can-do approach
