Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is seeking an experienced continuous improvement professional to join our Business Excellence team in Auckland. You will partner with business leaders to deploy strategy and drive Lean initiatives across manufacturing operations.

With 5–10 years of Lean experience, you will coach teams, lead workshops and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and productivity, while focusing on customer value and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years as a Lean/continuous improvement practitioner with measurable outcomes.
• Proven coaching skills to develop high-performing teams.
• Strong background in large-scale manufacturing/operations.
• Excellent cross-functional communication across a big organisation.
• Strong people development and change management capabilities.
• Experience running training, workshops and CI initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking.
• Bias toward delivering business value and customer outcomes.

About you:

We are looking for an energetic individual with excellent interpersonal skills, who can influence effectively at all levels, while taking people on our continuous improvement journey. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, you will partner with business leaders, at General Management level, where you will get a high-level of understanding of the global business. You will also have the skills to communicate with the operators and core team who work within our manufacturing operations environment. A flexible team player who possesses a proven track record of application of Lean Tools for Continuous Improvement in a manufacturing environment, working in a cross functional team environment that is focused on delivering value to the business. You will have a great attitude and aptitude to learn and share our techniques to drive efficiency and productivity to our customers.

• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to work across functions in a large organisation

• Experience facilitating training, workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset
• Ability to focus on the business outcomes and customer value

This is a fulltime, permanent position (40-hour week) based on site, at our Auckland office in Highbrook – East Tamaki.
