Job summary

PAK’nSAVE Rangiora is seeking a Produce Assistant Manager (2IC) to help run the Produce Department. The role focuses on delivering fresh, high-quality fruit and vegetables while sustaining strong team culture and customer service.

The candidate will support the Produce Manager in daily operations, oversee stock and pricing accuracy, and work towards KPI targets in a busy New Zealand retail environment. Full-time hours with interview-based scheduling. Applications close 27 October 2026.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the Produce Manager in daily department operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to maintain a strong culture.
• Oversee stock ordering, rotation, and freshness to minimise waste.
• Ensure food safety compliance and maintain records.
• Assist in achieving financial and operational targets, including waste and labour control.
• Maintain 100% pricing and signage accuracy and deliver excellent customer service.
