Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a Grocery Supervisor – 2IC / Duty Manager to lead our evening grocery operations and support the store team in delivering exceptional service.

You will resolve customer queries, guide staff, and oversee stock, merchandising, and training to maintain a fast‑paced, high‑standard department. Applicants should have previous supermarket experience and be eligible to work in New Zealand, with leadership abilities to thrive in a hands‑on role.

Qualifications

• Previous supermarket experience.
• Proven leadership skills and a collaborative mindset.
• SAP experience is a bonus.
• LCQ and Manager’s Certificate desirable.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Must have current eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Support the Grocery Manager with daily operations and team coordination.
• Lead and motivate a small team to deliver top‑notch service.
• Handle customer inquiries and ensure a positive shopping experience.
