Job summary

Snowy River Gold Mine is seeking Processing Operators to run and supervise the new mining processing plant near Reefton. This hands-on role covers crushing, grinding, gravity circuits, flotation, and tailings management with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The position requires experience in mineral processing or mechanical aptitude, strong teamwork, and a commitment to health and safety. A 7 days on/7 days off roster is typical, with company transport support.

Qualifications

• Experience in mineral processing plant or similar industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts in a processing plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor processing plant equipment to maximise safety and recovery.
• Adjust operating parameters to optimise performance.
• Maintain housekeeping and inspect equipment routinely.
• Support water management and site safety practices.
• Identify and report equipment issues to minimise downtime.
