Job summary

Snowy River Gold Mine is seeking skilled Gold Room Operators to join its West Coast operation. Reporting to the Processing Supervisor, you will manage the ILR, smelting activities, and doré production with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in gold room or mineral processing operations.
• Strong understanding of gold room security protocols.
• High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to work.
• Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Intensive Leach Reactor (ILR) and undertake sampling activities.
• Conduct smelting and furnace operations to produce gold doré.
• Prepare calcine and fluxes for smelting.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting, and reconciliation data.
• Support processing operations as required and work closely with processing and metallurgical teams.
• Promote strong safety, security, and environmental standards.
