Job summary

NZ Post is hiring a Processing Officer in Canterbury to sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels at the Syd Bradley Road, Yaldhurst branch for couriers.

This fixed-term role runs until October 2027, with a Monday–Friday workload and a focus on accuracy, safety, and reliable teamwork in a dynamic parcel operation.

Qualifications

• Available to work Monday to Friday 10:30am–4:30pm.
• Be a committed teammate, keeping yourself, others and the site safe.
• Physically demanding role – ability to lift up to 25kg.
• Good geographical knowledge and attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight for courier delivery.
• Prepare items at Syd Bradley Road, Yaldhurst branch for timely dispatch.

Our Processing Officers create the magic by sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels and freight at our Syd Bradley Road, Yaldhurst, branch, ready for our couriers to deliver. This is for a fixed term until October 2027 to cover parental leave.
