Job summary

New Zealand Post Group is hiring a Processing Officer for our Oamaru branch. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels to prepare them for delivery, contributing to a smooth, data-led logistics operation.

This role requires early morning availability (Mon–Sat 04:30–07:30), the ability to lift up to 25kg, and a focus on accuracy and safety while supporting a vibrant NZ Post team in delivering for Aotearoa.

Qualifications

• Be available for Monday to Saturday, 04:30–07:30am.
• Able to lift up to 25kg.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good geographical knowledge and mapping skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at Oamaru branch.
• Support couriers to deliver parcels efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in handling items and packages.
