Job summary

MBIE in Wellington is seeking a Privacy Advisor to provide privacy advice on information management and upcoming Privacy legislation changes within a complex and dynamic environment spanning MBIE's 16 regulatory systems.

You will work with the Principal Advisor - Privacy and other senior advisors to deliver high-quality, timely guidance and to embed privacy best practice across MBIE. This role offers opportunities to develop breadth across privacy topics.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Privacy legislation, policy and processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent relationship management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide privacy advisory and support services to MBIE staff and leaders.
• Embed privacy best practice across MBIE's operations and regulatory systems.
• Advise on upcoming Privacy legislation changes and practical implementation.
• Collaborate with the Principal Advisor - Privacy and other senior advisors.
